Program Description
The Nursing Aide Training Program is designed to provide comprehensive instruction and hands-on experience to individuals aspiring to become Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs). This program emphasizes the fundamental principles of patient care, ethical considerations, and essential skills necessary to excel in entry-level healthcare roles.
Throughout the course, students will acquire a deep understanding of healthcare systems, patient rights, and the responsibilities of an LNA within a healthcare team. Emphasis will be placed on developing proficiency in basic nursing skills such as vital signs assessment, patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and infection control measures. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application through interactive lectures or online, laboratory simulations, and clinical rotations in real healthcare settings.
Upon successful completion of the Nursing Aide Training Program, students will be eligible to sit for the state competency exam to become certified as Nursing Assistants. This program prepares individuals for rewarding careers in healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health agencies, where they play a vital role in promoting patient well-being and comfort.
Clinical Rotation will be completed in Portsmouth, NH or Dover, NH Sites.

IN-PERSON COURSE:

Duration: 4 weeks

Course Hours: 116 Total Clock hours with 60 hours in clinical and 56 hours of classroom/lab

Days: Monday-Thursday.

Class/Lab: 9:00 am- 4:30 PM (Weeks 1 & 2 of the program)

Clinical 7:00 am-3:30 pm (Weeks 3 & 4 of the program)
HYBRID COURSE:

Duration: 4 weeks

Course Hours: 116 Total Clock hours with 60 hours clinical and 40 hours online learning and 16 hours in-person lab.

Days: Class online on your own time but to be completed before week 3&4.

Lab: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-4:30 pm (Weeks 1&2 of the program)
