Enrollment Requirements
Individuals applying for this course are required to:
4 Be at least 18 years of age or older
4 Have a government-issued ID or social security card
4 Have a high school diploma or GED
4 Negative TB test (students will be referred to health dept or walk in clinic for TB test screening)
4 CPR Certification: Students must have a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) prior to starting class. CPR classes are included, and will be offered at the school at the start of the program.
4 English Proficiency: Since the LNA profession involves communication with patients and healthcare professionals, proficiency in English is required, demonstrated through standardized tests or previous education. This test will be given to students during enrollment in the school.
4 Students who enroll in hybrid courses will need to have a computer, laptop or smartphone to access your course online.
4 Students will be required to come to class/clinical with black top and bottom scrubs. Wear comfortable, closed toe shoes such as sneakers or nursing clogs. Thrive Health Career Institute will provide ID badge.
Students must receive a grade of 70% or better for theory portion and “pass” for clinical portion to pass the course and receive your Certificate of Completion.
